On Tuesday, the Kano government brought new charges against Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the former state governor.
The state government charged Ganduje and the former Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan, with criminal conspiracy and misappropriation in violation of Section 308 and punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, the laws of Kano State, Nigeria, in the charge sheet associated with case No. K/143c/24.
The state government stated that Sections 97 and 315 of the penal code, on the other hand, punish the offense.
Ganduje and Lawan were accused of abusing their positions by the state administration.
The state government stated in the charge sheet that it plans to call four witnesses.
The arraignment has not been given a set date. (NAN)
