The leading House of Rep aspirant for Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku Federal constituency under the platform of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Peter Akpanke commence consultation for the actualisation of his political ambition by seeking the face of God in a Holy Mass at Mater Redemtoris Parish Sankwala.
De Solid Rock who was in Company of his aides, some coordinators of De Rock movement and supporters stated that he decided to seek the face of God and pray for devine protection and direction as he commence consultations for his desire to represent the good people of Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku in the Federal House of Representatives come 2023.
“I have come here to first of all consult God almighty who is the supreme God of the universe and the giver of power because I do not have another source of power except through Him”.
In the homily which was taken by Very Fr Ganyi Nobeth, the Man of God eulogies Mr Akpanke for recognizing God. He stated that there is no better way to begin except with God and as well revealed that God overseas the affairs of men and gives leadership to who he so wishes. He prayed for the favour of God on Mr Peter Akpanke and his team, that God grant, bless and empower them with what they need through out the political journey.
Very Rev Fr Roger Mowang, Fr Ganyi, Fr Ulem and some widows in an intercessory section, prayed for De Rock and his team as they embark on his political adventure.
