The managing director of Valington Homes And Properties LTD. Dr Valentine Abiji visits General Hospital Ogoja to clear off the medical bills of all patients in the hospital as well as Correctional Center (Prison) in Ogoja LGA to celebrate Christmas and New Year with the inmates as he presented gift items & cash donation for their upkeep and welfare.
In the Hospital, the MD was presented with an award by Ladies Of St.Mulumba (LSM) Nigeria “Calabar Metropolitan Council in recognition of his numerous contribution to the growth of Catholic Church and Humanity.
The Controller of the Correctional facility Ogoja, Mr. Momoh Sule was emotional to have seen a very young man of his age rendering such a wonderful service to humanity. He appreciated Valentine for being so kind hearted and requested other well meaning Ogoja sons and daughters to emulate him.
The inmates were not left out as they took turns to appreciate & pray for Dr. Valentine Abiji for remembering them when they needed support, they pleaded with him to help in his capacity to facilitate their release which the MD oblige immediately and asked the controller to give him the bail requirements for those inmates qualified to be bailed,which the first inmate has been set Free after due procedures were attained, as he reunited with his family to the glory of God.
