Several videos from the scene that were shared on X.com on Sunday morning revealed that the Christ Embassy Church headquarters, which is in the Oregun neighborhood of Ikeja, Lagos State, was apparently on fire on Sunday morning. It is also reported that members of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are present at the scene attempting to contain the fire. Augustine tweeted from the location on X.com under the handle Chief Augustin1, writing, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire. Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it off. Thank God service hasn’t been fully initiated.”
