In Osun, Sokunbi assumes leadership of the FRSC sector commander.

 

In Osun State, Mr. Taofeeq Sokunbi has assumed the role of Sector Commander for the Federal Road Safety Corps.
The appointment was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi, in a statement released on Thursday in Osogbo.
According to the Daily Post, Mr. Inyang Umoh has been relocated to Rivers State, and Sokunbi has taken his place.
An experienced administrator, Sokunbi joined the FRSC in 1996 and has worked in several capacities all throughout the nation, including the commands of Ogoja and Jigawa.

She asked FRSC members in the state to help the newly appointed sector commander accomplish goals.

The statement said, “He was assigned to the ABA Information Processing Center (IPC) after serving as the Staff Zonal Data Center at Lokoja and Ilorin.”

“On July 22, 1970, Sokunbi was born into the family of High Chief Kolawole and Madam Funmilayo Sokunbi in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.”He is from the Ogun local government area of Abeokuta South.

“He went to Vetland Grammar School, Agege, Lagos State, after attending Shiloh Primary School.”

Ogungbemi, however, stated that Joseph Ayo-Babalola University, Ikeji Arakeji, in Osun State, was the source of the new Sector Commander’s initial Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications degree.
